Playstand

When I have the tiels in my room, they have nowhere to sit except on Ashling's cage... and Ash tries to nip their toes! So I made a cheap and easy play stand I made for the tiels' so they can have somewhere to sit privately in my room. The stand is a birdbath with a branch attached. Then ladders and other accessories were added to make it bright, fun and interesting. I used spare items from around the house and will add more and more to it in the future. The budgie just flits around wherever- usually canoodling Ash through the bars. When the everyone else is back in the tiel cage n the loungeroom, Ash plays on it by herself. Can everyone post pics of their birds coexisting "peacefully"?
That would be awesome

The tiels checking it out:

See? Peaceful.

Ash is an "in your face" kind of girl... the tiels don't like that!

Thanks, Peanut...

They seem to like it

Showing off to his girl...

Whistling to her...

Talk about "coexisting!"

"It's not what it looks like, honest!"

Nice idea! Very clever. I saw some baths like that in like Overflow but wasn't sure what to do with it.

Haha That is smart... do they actually bath in the bird bath, or is it there just for decoration/sturdiness...?

hahaha! Ashling gets along with the budgie? That's adorable.

Great pics. My birds have a huge piece of driftwood in the middle of the living room. 5-6 birds can sit comfortably without bumping into each other. They love their driftwood.
