Sorry but that gave me a chuckle, of course this has to be a joke. I mean come on the person didnt see it get sucked up in the vaccum?, if it were true the bird must been trying to attack the vaccum

LMAO

i used to clean out my rats' cages (dirty bedding) with a shop vac
most stayed away from the hose...some thought it was playtiem! and would popcorn around and SSSHHLLUURRRRRP in they'd go
it was really funny...though it felt wrong to be laughing
i would open the canister and there would be the baby (it was always young ones, the older ones knew better LOL)
all static clingy with bedding stuck to their fur

The very first vet I worked for (a hundred years ago), accidentally vacuumed up a mouse in the central vac. We had just finished shaving it for a surgery to remove a tumor, and we used the vac to get all the little hairs off surgery patients. Well, in all his genius, he started vacuuming, and shlorp went the mouse! We had to run all the way downstairs to the container, and there was the poor little mouse, all covered in fuzz! LOL! He was alive, and had his surgery, and went home the next day. That is probably the funniest thing I've ever witnessed...tho not until long after the incident!
