Oh My goodness. So fragile and helpless. Are you tired yet. How often do you feed him and how much do you think he takes in a feeding. What formula? Im just so nosey, I just have never had to do a day one baby and I want to be prepared.

Exhausted, but mainly because of having to hatch him out piece by piece and suffering a bad sinus infection at the same time. For the first 5 hours, he got nothing but a bit of lactated ringers, then he got some Formula One mixed into it - pretty much coloured water but it gives him a little boost. Today, he's been bawling for food, so he's on full strength Mazuri formula and gobbling it down every 1 1/2 hours at about half a cc's worth. He's a massive eater which is good! His crop empties beautifully so far and he's trying to lift that big head of his (he can't yet lol). He'll get a few more days of all night feeding this way, then I'll give a final feed at 12am and then feed again at 3am and then 6am to give a nightly crop emptying period. I'll keep at that pace for 2 weeks then knock back the 3am feed.
