What a beautiful bird!! I've not seen one that color. What kind of bird is he? (Forgive my ignorance, I'm wet behind the ears!) D

Lovebirds are known as 'pits of the bird world' so to speak!!!! Now you know why! They can be aggressive little devils, particularly the peachfaces (which he is). However, they also have a sweet side.... sometimes!

No offense to the birds but that Sammy is the best. I love his little face. Thanks for the pic with his ball.

One day I will have a dog all my own and I will flaunt it to everyone out here.

...and you will all be very jealous, I assure you.

Blue may have a sweet face but he has a horrible bite! That sharp little beak is a force to be reckoned with!

LOL, Tom....Sam loves that ball!!! She goes crazy over it!

Good thing you left a space for another cage in your apartment! Your scheming has paid off!

And he's adorable! Give it time, I'm sure he'll settle in. Are your birds clipped or flighted? My meyers likes to chase my cockatiels too, but since they're flighted, they can get away from her! Be careful - lovebirds are small, but they have a BIG beak!

We're just fidsitting now but I'm falling in love with this little guy so I'm hoping she'll be willing to let me adopt him.
His cage is so tiny so I'll have to get him another one if he does and he'll need to be clipped.
Both of my boys were clipped but it's growing back out now and I'm considering letting them be flighted for a little while atleast until Spring. They're both grown out enough tgo fly now, which helps out when Blue goes on one of his "I own everything in sight" missions! lol

Actually, IF he stays he'll get Popcorn's cage and Pop's will get a new one!
Eventually Popcorn will get a new one anyways but for now he's content with what he has
