The Things Us Bird Lovers Wake Up To...

It's been one of those mornings. My kids are fighting and being little turkeys. Them yelling makes Diddle start mumbling and threatening to kick their butts. Then Marti looks at me and says "are you my Daddy?". If I stop looking at him, I get "hey Marti", "hey bird", "Mommmmmmmmmmmaa!". I know we think of the birds as our kids but is it bad when they consider us their parents???

I can also hear King singing already. In a few minutes, he will start his never ended dog bark rant that usually lasts about two hours. I have alllllllllll these birds in my house and 99% of the time, I hear that darn cockatiel and no one else

OK I feel better now...

Oh my Goffins are very talented Lilly speaks Japanese from her previous owner plus she picks up new words fairly easily and she talks up a storm. Diddle mumbles but when he does, he reinacts the fights that happened two homes ago It's really quite entertaining.

I wake up with Ellie's U2 morning calls. And Teal will usually starts out with a "hi" and then follows into verbally abusing me to F off , shut up, get back, what the hell, then a SHUT UP. then he will go into mumbles and then works through his entire vocabulary loudly, then back to mummbling and practicing his "new" words quietly till he gets them down pat! Tony just sounds like a telephone all the time! Oh and Teal constantly yelling for "HEEEEELLLLPPP"

I'm really lucky that Bebe is so quiet. Minga does the "HELPPPPP!" thing too and when that doesn't work, she yells "Paulllllllllllllllll" louder and louder and louder till she gets whatever it is she wants.

Oh and I get the verbal abuse from Marti too, especially when I put him back in his cage for chewing on the wall

I will be glad when Oliver starts to speak more. He was mumbling last night behind the door. I had to give him a 5 minute time out. He bit me and I put him away for five minutes and I guess he was back talking! LOL

I just wake up to his DAMN COW BELL! Im gonna remove that dang thing!
