Patrick that looks great. My guys spend 7/8's of their day on their playtops. There is something about sitting on top of the cage, instead of in it, that my guys like. My 'tiels always did too when I had them.

It's a shame my boys don't get creative toys from me unless I buy them.

That looks awesome!

My birds LOVE hanging out on top of their cages! I'll get some pictures to share with you guys for ideas. I don't have playtop cages...so I had to improvise like Patrick...though mine don't look as professional as his!

Yeah, they're the bendy ropes.
Popcorn has never had a playtop on his cage and he always wants to be on Skittles so I thought why not give it a try.
I initially wanted to use the metal ladders that they make for small birds but already had the rope perches so gave it a try.

My guys would like rope perches way better than their metal ladders.

Oh, and Blue went home a few days ago.
I miss him alot but they were very happy to get him back and agreed that if they ever had to give him up he would come stay with me.

He likes to chew the rope so I'm not sure how long they're going to last.
.......

Oh and Molly, thank you!
