Ah now that makes more sense, in the concept of a pop to scare away birds. I'm usually a lot smarter than I seem to appear lately... must be the benedryl and vicodin lol.

I was with geek when I first saw this clip- I literally had to laugh. I know I shouldn't have, but the very idea of having a bunch of "Wesley's" eating my house is just absurd to me. (Of course, I have never been to Australia, so it is hard to imagine.)

However, the idea that if they don't have to forage for food they become bored stuck a chord with me, as it makes perfect sense as to why they would be damaging homes. At any rate, to see them take the entire wood siding off a home is unreal.

maybe they need to string up a hundred boings and phonebooks up in the trees hehe.... thankfully around my area we only have a few corellas, altho the noise from 20 galahs and 50 lorikeets can be quite deafening! There has been very bad droughts which is forcing the wild birds into suburbia for food.

looked like a couple of too's with beak and feather disease there....
