Yep, Sophie's the one I was thinking of when I said some Ekkies hold stuff with their feet all the time. Man, Jim, every time I see pictures of Sophie, it literally takes my breath away. She is (forgive me for being redundant here...) breathtaking! You are quite a photographer too. :)

Talking

General Lee my U2 will reach down through the grating on the bottom of his cage to retrieve a nut or something that he has dropped, it is too funny to watch especially since it is a five to six inch reach and the bars that he is reaching through are only spaced at 3/4" apart. you most likely wont believe me and I too didn't believe my wife when she told me that he was doing it but one day I caught him doing it, It was so funny I didn't get a picture of it but I will get one as soon as I can, I will try to even get a video of it as well........LMB

It's so amazing how clever/crafty they are! I never get tired of watching the things they come up with!

Dewey my red-sided never really uses his feet, its just an individual bird thing I guess.

Zazu uses his feet often. He loves foot toys but popsicle sticks the most. He is believed to be about 2 years old and has been doing this for at least the past year.

Both of my boys are big feet users, of course they are macaws.. Newt started trying at about 10 wks, but again I think this is macaws.
