Do your birds spar with eachother?
I've noticed that Peppers and Hans do it a lot more then Sydney and Sky do. They will be on the top of their play area and start sparring with eachother quite a bit. I know they aren't fighting because neither of them makes any noise when they are doing it and it almost always ends with a mutual preening session. I know I read somewhere that this is an extremely common ritual with wild parrots, especially mates so it got me to thinking. . .
I have never seen Sydney and Sky play like that before so now I'm wondering if maybe it's more of a zon thing? I know not everyone here has birds that are allowed to interact with eachother but those of you that do, do you notice your birds sparring with eachother? I'm really curious if it's more prevalent with some species then others.
