Depends if you get it from a breeder or a bird store.
Could be anywhere from $200-$500.

Have you thought about a rehomed bird? No one has mentioned this yet, but where I live sun conures are one of the highest rehomed birds I see for sale on Craigslist, etc. People buy them for their bright colors and don't realize that they are more like a big bird in a little bird package. (Not to mention their loud contact calls.)

My little sun conure was a rehome, I got him, his cage, travel carrier, toys, etc. for $250. He is a sweetheart and was about 8 months old when I brought him home. They seem very able to adapt to new surroundings and people.

I personally have done this with most of my birds. I love rehomed fids! :D
To answer the original question though, they got for around $600+ around here.

I usually see sun conures for $200-$600, and second hand birds usually $100-$300.

Talking

I have seen them around here in Georgia going for between $250-$450, but I found them to be pretty well priced at the Bird fairs in Atlanta, you might want to save your money and wait till there is a bird fair around you, for example I actually almost came home with a sun conure for $150..........LMB
