My baby Halfmoon Picaso
Hey folks I finally made up my mind and decided to go with the Halfmoon conure. It was a tough decision. I almost went with a Cherryhead but was nervous cause I rent & the heard issues about them being too loud.
My Halfmoon has been home a week now & he is settling in slowly. I have to work on his biting & step up. He's very cautious when roaming the cage & a bit clumsy. I'm thinking of maybe getting him a roomate. If I go with another halfmoon I'm gonna need to have Picaso sexed cause I don't know his gender. Thanks for all your advice on helping me make my decision. |

Thanks for the nice compliments .
I know that Halfmoons are in the Aratinga genus and I read that they are one of the "quieter" ones so I am taking a chance. He's real quiet so far probably cause Picaso is still young and getting familiar with his surroundings. I remember having parakeets that would chatter up a storm.
