awww im so sad :[
as many might know i have fallen in love with sun conures. i really want one and i got the the point that my parents said i might be able to get one for christmas. i searched everywhere for prices and the cheapest i found was $549. i know they wont pay more than $240. for one. i did find a lot of quakers for that price but the one i want is the sun conure. o well i guess thats what i get for getting my hopes up. anyone know any places on long island that sell them for aroun $240

Have you considered adopting one that needs a home? Like from a shelter? An adoption fee would be less than what you would have to pay a breeder or a pet store.

i found 2 of them on cl in stl mo for 100 bucks they are everywhere in mo for dirt cheap i dont know how far you are from mo or if your willing to travel to get one but check cl or kijiji even tho people down these sites so bad on here there are birds out there that need homes!!!! hope this helps

i would rather have one thats a baby. by baby i mean i young one that is weaned. so that way i can have him/her all of his/her life and know his/her past. but i guess im willing to go for one. ill have to look further into it

you can find babies on there to sadly to say right now around the holidays people are hard up for money and they are selling everything!!!!

I've seen tons of suns on StL CL lately! A few of them have only been a few months old too. Don't lose hope, just keep looking, I'm sure the perfect bird for you will show up!

Yes, watch Craigs List. You would be surprised. People are often rehoming Sun Conures.
