Is this for real can African Grey's do this!!!!! I have never seen a bird do things like this!!

OH ABSOLUTELY! Greys are extremely intelligent and usually have the largest vocabulary capability of all parrots. Einstein is famous.

that bird astounds me! well my greys do some things on command, but not usually, and only when they 'feel' like it. :)

that is Awsome I love african grey's but I didn't know that they have that much ability to talk and so clear my sun conure talks but it isn't very clear

You should read the book, Alex and Me, by Irene Pepperberg. You really get a lot of insight into the intelligence of African Greys and I would think other parrots in general. It's a nice read.

Yeah, he is really starting to. These days he likes to say, "Talk to you later...O.K.?" I think he is imitating me on the cell phone. He also says: What are you doing?, Peek-a-Boo, I love you (that one always gets me), Hello (sort of), and whistles. Sometimes he does half of the wolf whistle and waits for me to do the other half. He is always mumbling so I suspect he is trying new words and sounds. He is a nut. I love him something crazy.

Aw Tom that sounds so SWEET! I just melt when Rio says ordinary things like "step up" or "come here", I don't know what I would do if he told me he loved me!!!
