Emma:
Relax. I'm sure that once things settle down, he'll be fine. They are a bit neurotic, but they do adapt. I think its the change in schedules that's harder on them than actually moving. They just like a routine. I have a CAG here that came to me plucked. She refeathered completely in the 3 months that I had her. At that time, when the owner realized that she was happy here, he simply gave her to me. That is my Cleo. When I recently helped a dying friend for a few weeks and wasn't doing my normal routine, I could see the day to day regression. She would pluck unmercifully! One morning I uncovered a cage with a pile of feathers under her that was 2" thick! I was heartbroken. Once my friend passed and I got back into my regular routine, she stopped just as quickly as she started. She's almost totally refeathered. Ekkies and greys just seem to revert to plucking whenever they get upset about anything. I'm so happy your new digs are so great. Sounds beautiful. You'll have to share some photos. Take lots of Milo now and before you know it, he'll be all full of feathers and you won't believe how far he came. Life is about the LITTLE celebrations, after all. Glad you're back. We MISSED you .THE OUTLAW
