How does this happen to me?

So I get a call at work, some lady wants to get rid of her two green cheeks and she thought of me first because I'm so good with birds....well darn it, thats all I need is 2 more....but I agreed and shes bringing them to work tonight for me. Thank god I set up the conures in an enourmous cage taller and wider than I am! They need all the play room they can get! So now I'll have 4 greencheeks and a dusky, along with all the others....what am I going to do with myself....can't think in peace as it is....too loud...but i love them so very much, and perhaps they could breed and make me some cute little babies to hand feed, i just love raising babies...Anyhow, this should be intersting....oh and NO MORE BIRDS!!!!!! Haha

People get birds without realizing what they got themselves into and realizing that, look to find good homes for them. Once word gets out that you are an experienced and involved owner they will seek you out and find you. You may as well have a neon light up in your window.

Lol that's so true Tom! Town we just moved from had a budgie flying around getting chased by the magpies etc. People I've never even seen before came to me saying "your the bird lady aren't you" lol.

Needless to say I managed to catch the wee fella, bring him to health and put posters up all over town.
After 3 weeks of him been at top health and mixing with my flock I rehomed him with one of my youngsters to people I knew would look after them.

I really hope I don't get that rep here as have no room and landlord would have a fit lol.

Well Im sure where ever I go that rep. will follow m, it has since I was 12. Anyow, the green cheeks are home, they look very happy and healthy, and were not exposed to any other birds this past year so they went right in with the others, and are cuddling away. They are super cute! I need new names, they are only a year old. I've already been bit by the mean one and the nice one wouldnt let go of my hair...hehe im in love!
