If she doesn't like laying on her back, I wouldn't force it. Some parrots just do not like to lay on their backs, likely because it makes them feel vulnerable or uncomfortable.

Honey likes to be on her back... I think? Ill be playing with her and shell be on my lap or stomach and then she rolls on her side, grabs my finger with her foot and then rolls completely on her back... but she bites me tho... I feel like she thinks my finger is corn on the cob... the way she holds my finger with her feet, one on each end of my finger.... i dunno, its hard to say if she likes it when shes biting but she rolls over on her own...

my tiki loves laying on her back and will just roll over herself and start playing with her toes or band then falls asleep..im not too sure about how to make them do it though, i suppose if you could start by flipping them over in your hand and gradually work it to the couch/bed/whatever..but im sure itll take alot of trust first..

It took my Shade (Senegal) about a year to feel comfortable laying on her back in my hand.
I didn't push it. I let her flip back upwards when she wanted. As her trust grew in me, she stayed like that longer.

I got a training program from Bird Tricks .com and in it they show you how to try and train a bird to flip over and lay on its back, I tried the principals on Hannah and that worked very well and she took to it pretty well, but then again I think she naturally likes being on her back because she would initiate the roll over on her own after a while, here are a few pics of her in her playful roll over mood-

I have read that it takes a lot of trust on the bird's part for them to be willing to lay on their backs. You must be really close. Also, she is beautiful!

It is a trust thing, most definitely. Last year I adopted my senegal who would do that for his former owner. He is still learning to trust me (slllllooooowwwww going), so we haven't made it to that point yet.
