If major's are raised properly they are fine, They need to get used to lots of people or will get agressive, Aussie isnt cuddly tame (was found wandering the streets) but is happy to have a chat up close!

Wow, my GSC2 gets away with murder with her innocent cockatoo face. With that cutie patootie I would be a puddle on the floor. Give her some cuddles for me!!!

They are striking birds. Pictures do not do them justice. I wasn't impressed with them from seeing them on line and in magazines. They looked like a white rose breasted to me. Then I went into a bird store that had one. Boy was I wrong. S/he was so friendly kept calling me over to the cage to chat. The beauty just about made me gasp. It, also, made me want to bang my head into a wall since I'm horribly allergic to all cockatoos.

Wow! $400. That seems a little weird considering how expensive that they are. I guess that really low prices make me suspicious!

Wow another beautiful bird. But then again I have yet to see one I don't think is a beauty.

Must be that bird bug I got many years ago

You need to take into consideration that crazyratwoman is in Australia! Not in the USA!

In Aust, most cockatoos (except black ones) cost less than $1000, same as macaws in the US, while macaws here cost $10, 000 give or take a little. My friend's neighbor has a pair of Mitchels, I like their call in the mornings :)
