Unhappy Doesn't look to good for the quaker I was going to get.

I found out today that I wont be getting the quaker I have been looking at. The man selling it is not willing to ship or meet half way :eusa_wall It really sucks, I was looking forward to looking after and loving a bigger bird. If anyone can help me find a "bigger" bird for a reasonable price ( I'm kind of broke) that would be great, thanks everyone. :eusa_wall

Champ, call Dr. Romain's office. They can give you the number of our bird local rescue. I forget the name of it. Or try Dr. Wallis' office...
Dr. Romain- 913-764-1415
Dr. Wallis- 913-422-0301

Let me know if you go. I have never been there.

I can't be much help, but I'm sorry to hear about the quaker. I myself get attached to birds and excited about them before I buy them and end up leaving the store disappointed because I, too, am broke. Major buzz kill.
I hope you find one at a good price...
