This is an awesome thread. It is great to read all the stories.

Bailey (tiel) I love her laid back nature, she is not cuddly but she has the sweetest disposition.

Tiki (tiel) I love her little bioch attitude, but the way she snuggles up under your chin when she wants pets, and the attitude you get when she doesn't.

Monet aka Cujo (lovebird) I love everything about this bird, she is the boss of all the birds. The way she talks softly to her toys then all of a sudden she starts to yell at them. I love the fact that even though she protests initially to get picked up she lays in the cup of your hand and soaks up the pets.

Juno (Sun) I love the way he loves me and tolerates everything i do to the him. He loves to shower with us and is a snuggle bug and loves to crawl into our shirts and take a nap or falls asleep with me if I take a nap.

Kiwi (DYHA) He is new to us, but I can tell that he is intelligent. I love the way that he greeted me this morning when I got up and the fact that he didn't lunge at my hand. He learned in no time that he has to play nice if he wants out. But most of all I love they way he loves my partner it is incredible the way he trusts her.

I love them all.

I truly get a joy out of reading all of your birds stories from you guys. Reading your bonds with all your birds makes me truly look forward to getting that strong of a bond with my bird. They are all truly lucky to have you all for their mommies and daddies.

It's hard to pick one thing. I love so many things about Kermit, the way her pupils dilate when she's happy or excited and the way she puts her words together to make funny little phrases. I guess my favorite thing about Kermit would be how trusting she is. It is an honor that she trusts me so completely.

I adore my dear Willow and how sweet and loving and social to everyone she is.

I adore Aspen for her comical sense of humor.

I love how Maple is very methodical and thoughtful, I like to see his hang upside down and the neat noises he makes.

I love to watch Mulberry and Cypress together, I love how Mulberry will rush to defend Cypress from me if I get too close. I love how gorgeous they are, especially when they fly.

All of them I love to listen to their Amazon noises, I adore their love of bathes, and I love that they are such good eaters.

Thank you Katrina.

Kermit actually named herself. She came home at 4 months old saying "hello Kermit" & "step up". Kermit was a hahns mini macaw who was boarding at the bird store and she picked up "hello Kermit" from everyone talking to him. We found out when she was a year old that she was a girl but the name stuck.
