Talking What is it most you love about your bird?

I read so much about every one talking about this and that about their birds. All good things of course. So, I thought this would be a good place to ask, What is it you love most about your bird? And what kind of bird(s) do you have?

Let's see

Arthur - The way he can surprise me with what comes out of his beak and the timing, his dignity, the way I feel so connected with him.
Bogey - He makes me laugh. Bogey just loves people and has this thick headed innocence about him.
Arora - typical nut case galah. She demands to be taken notice of and the tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants, well I find them funny.
Coco - yes I do adore the pyscho wench. I can't help but admire her tenacity. The bird has balls. She also has the sweetest hello before going in for the kill.
Kirri - She knows who she is and what she is. Another very dignified bird.

I'll leave it at that.

With Tiki (galah), I love his constant whirlwind of activity, the flips & jumps & rolls on the ground, the hanging upside down while screaming, his belief that everything is his to eat or play with, the way he sticks his head inside his food bowl and screams to hear his own muffled cries, and when he's finally mellow he'll make kiss-kiss sounds and tilt his head for a 15 minute head rub.

With Gator (galah), I love her gentleness, the way she really prefers to just sit happily on my hand & preen her feathers, the way she gets quietly happy when Tiki finally lets her play with a toy, the way she makes a sound like "thank you!" when you take her out or give her something.

With Tonka (CAG), I love the way he is happiest when he is near me, his desire to be near me battling with his fear of humans. And I love it when he talks or whistles, imitating me.

With Falco (my son's cockatiel who really should be named Pit Bull because he's a holy biting terror with absolutely no use for people), I love his pretty grey and white feathers!

Connor, my 5 month old Sun Conure, is so intelligent. He has tried to mimic my sounds already and loves to touch things with his beak. I really love it when he investigates my hand with his beak, not biting me at all!

Alexandrine "iki"...where to start....
Oh the way he loves lemon tea more than me, he sticks his head in all the way to lick up the last drops. (Him standing proud after a cup of tea in my signature pic)
When I poke my tongue out at him, he does it too (sometimes)
He hangs upside down and flaps his wings while yelling random sounds :D
When he's on my shoulder he sticks his head in my hair and rubs his beak on my neck and grooms me.
When he decides to say softly "hello ...what what what....whaaat..hello"

I think I will stop now.

And my budgies!
I love them all, because they're all friendly, and the babies are teee cutest things ever, I love feeding them with a little spoon and seeing their little beaks go back and forth on it munching away >.<
And when I step into an aviary with a handfuls of seed, one - 5 really tame ones will jump on my hand, and then all the other budgies are like 'ohhh what are they doing, why do they get that?! I'm coming too' then I have like 20 budgies on me and several waiting in line :D

The things I love most about Poppy: He's a Mama's boy, he's so excited to see me & before he even sees me he's yelling "Mama's home!" He's a chatterbox, I would definately miss the silence. He says the silliest things @ just the right time. He's such entertainment.

Ziggy is a sweetie, but man is she bossy ... big bird in a little package!
