I have wanted a green wing macaw for a long time now. I own my house so noise and space is not the issue. It comes down to expense! One stainless steel cages $2,000.00 or more. New macaw toys once a month $50.00-100.00 Lets not even start on the perches you will have to buy, because they chew through them. Play stands, food, vet visits... the list goes on and on and on.
Every time I decided to get a Macaw think about vacations, car payments clothes, I change my mind!
Maybe someday although I think that I am getting to old to get one we will see.
