Thanks for sharing your story. It takes just a second for the unthinkable to happen. Louie and Sami are lucky to have such understanding parronts. I am so glad the little guy is improving.

I admire your dedication to your bird. The size of the bird has nothing to do with how much you love them and are willing to care for them.

Thanks all for the kinds words. The $$$ were only included because we all have to think about what could happen and the $$$ for the care that may be needed. Please be prepared if an emergency happens.

Louie is doing pretty good today. Want's that darn red bandage off no matter what it takes!

And, of course, his casual Budgie "Hey, Whatcha Lookin' At?" Pose

Good to see the little guy is improving, and yes it's great you included the dollar amount, it does give a good awareness of how much these animals can cost you, and you need to prepared for it.

I spent last night stirring about whether your budgie was getting better I was glad to see photos of him upright and as well as can be expected. :)

That picture of Louie standing with the bandage is worth a thousand million trillion gazillion dollars!

On the more serious side, I can't express how grateful I am that you are in this world of bird lovers. Bless your heart, and thank you for sharing.
