He has to put up with so much. He has the tiels who he HATES, the keets who he loves to watch (and they never come out of the cage so that helps), now the finches who he hasn't made a decision on yet, the constant noise and the other day I sold his cage right out from under him, lol. I hated the cage anyway but he was not very happy with me. He's in a smaller cage that he is fine with but it's going to be replaced soon since it's a dometop and I can't put toys on top of it when he's out.
He has started to wander more lately. Today he was suddenly on top of the parakeet cage and I still don't know how he got there.

I was sitting in the room so I would like to think I would have heard him if he flew and he is NOT a graceful, quiet flyer when he does fly. A couple weeks ago I was gone for the weekend and when I came home I left the room, came back in and 10 minutes later realized he was no longer on top of the cage. That got me searching and he was all the way in the living room sitting on the floor. He had to have gone looking for me but took a right out the door instead of a left, lol. He still doesn't fly the best but all his flight feathers aren't fully grown in yet.
I'm so grateful that he's such an easygoing, laid back bird. (and no, he's not tortured, he's spoiled rotten

)
