i'm confused what the point of this post is - we all know that there's plenty of bad judgment out there when it comes to cage size

PeanutButter,

I can see how someone new to the board might find this post informative, there is lots of it out there but I didn't think it was overly repetitive or anything.

Red face

In regards to cage size etc...

really at the end of the day it boils down to common sense, either you have or you don't. The only places this could be started is in the pet stores with staff educating people on the size of cage that would be best suited for their breed of bird. It doesn't matter how much we complain about these types of individuals out there, that are either cheap/ or just plan ignorant to the bone or just didn't know any better.

It also goes to the MFR who should have on them for travel only or something people buy a cage that says for Tiels and its smaller then I would put a budgie in.. The same with the round cages they sell them but they are not good to home your bird in..

purplecleo-- I'm new, yes, but in another thread, there was an argument.

It appeared at first glance that this was just trying to provoke the same argument for the THIRD time.

At second glance I don't think Magdalena was involved in the other argument though. And because she just said she "misunderstood" the other posts I can see why she started this thread.

I don't mind threads where people are told their cages aren't a good fit for their bird. People need to know that stuff & recently I had to learn it for myself. I searched everywhere to see if my cages were too small, including old threads.
