Red face Hello!

Hi I am new, I love this site, Its really nice. I have a Quaker, A cockatiel, and a little lovebird.

I am soon adopting a Queen Of Bavaria Conure, Or Golden Conure...I am so thrilled! Does anyone have any advice for me? I have been researching these birds day and night, haha, And there is not too much on them because of there rariety and endangered status. What I have found has been very helpful though. Does anyone here have one? Oh and were they REALLY reclassified as Macaws? How is there talking ability? This does NOT matter, I was just curious, I got my QP and he is QUITE the little jabber beak, haha

He is 6 years old, And his owner cant have him anymore because of the location she has moved, And she is just GIVING him away to a good home, with his gorgeous cage and everything, And I was the lucky winner, haha UNbelievable Things like this never happen to me ;) But he is extremely friendly, and not too attached to just one person. Which I have read that they are very friendly and affectionate birds anyway...

SO, Let me know whatcha think! Thanx!!!

You should check out the conure section. There are some threads of golden conures there. It might also be easier to get someone with one to see your thread if you post some questions there. Just an idea.

I met two once in a bird store and fell in love with them, but can't say any more that that about them. I can't wait to see photos of your new baby. Welcome.
