This is such great news. I thought the CD was a great idea but I also figured it was too late to be of use. Boy am I glad I was wrong! I am really happy for you. I was so sad to think you had lost them.

I have had many an old farmer tell me this story... "A man once fed a peacock with a pill of opium at four o'clock in the afternoon. The next day, exactly at that time, the peacock came back. It had felt the intoxication of the drug and returned just in time to have another dose." .... They said this was done to keep the peacocks coming home every day....They made them addicts. I don't know if there is any truth to it. I am sure someone has tried it though.
Peacocks are horrible about taking off. I had a pair several years ago. Something killed my hen when she was sitting on a nest. The male stayed close to home after that. I also had turkeys and he would display for them. He also loved looking at himself in any reflective object. You might put a mirror outside for them. Mine spent hours in front of a mirror every day.
