Have 2 conures... possibly looking for 3rd bird

The 2 conures don't get along..

I'm looking for a bird a little bigger,

What would you guys suggest?

I really like amazons, but want to keep with an unagressive type ( I know that any bird can be agressive) just a general idea...

Not really into Greys.. what else might be good to compliment my 2 conures?

Well if you are into conures you could look into mini macaws.

Im personally an ekkie fan though, I mean, once you bring this little face home there is no going back lol:


The best advice would be go to your local bird store and play with different species you like. Make a list of what you want in a larger bird, noise level, cuddliness, ect. Talk to lots and lots of different breeders and do your homework, for example baby umbrella cockatoos are soo sweet and cute but they grow up.

Wow Jen that is a big step. Our conures don't get along either....
There are sooo many amazing parrot out there....

Jardines are very cool.
Pionus are interesting.
Ekkies are sweet.
But my vote...
I love Hans Macaws and really love Severe Macaws. I find their personalities are similar to Conures.

Eclectus are beautiful!! And you're right their faces are SO sweet.

I did fall in love with a little Hahns macaw once too.... almost got one but went for a super cuddly conure instead..... maybe I'll check in on another macaw too :)
