Question Blood Feather?

Hey everyone!

I just wanted your opinions on a nasty blood feather Buckeye has. He is holding his wing out and is refusing to pull it back in. It is right at the tip of the wing, and it is HUGE. The feather seems to be causing him pain, so would it be best If I pull it? I do know how to pull blood feathers, but I am always leery about pulling wing feathers. So, should it stay or should it go?

Can you post a picture of it? Is it cracked or twisted in the socket?
Its hard to say without seeing it.

Went through this last week with my sun conure. Since it was bleeding, but not broken, i thought about trying to let it heal but since he kept messing with it I pulled it.

If it's causing your bird pain - pull it.

Just support the wing, and pull. Make sure you have someone else hold the bird - wouldn't attempt that by myself it at all possible.
