Anyone try this? Le Grass Cafe

I just saw this on ebay and bought it for Humphrey. I'm always trying to get her to eat more vegetables, and I think this might intrigue her. Anyone tried it?

I haven't tried it because mine would destroy the carton, but I think that Humphrey will enjoy it very much. Go for it.

Thanks Nancy. Have you or anyone else tried any other Beak Appetit products (the warm cooked food)? I'm thinking Humphrey would like it because she likes oatmeal.

Michele:

I've tried the Carribean Crunch and they liked it. However, with 10 larger birds, I'd be bankrupt very quickly if I served it often. However, once I open up ********** Wing and Nail Trimming, I'll serve it daily (LMAO).

Michele-
I tried Le Grass Cafe once and both birds looked like it tickled them and they didn't get it that they were supposed to eat it. I went on their web site and got a free sample - see if you can still get one for free to try.

Laura,

that's too funny. I think Humphrey might understand, because when I first got her she took a hunk out of one of my houseplants and I thought she would be poisoned! I've since moved them...

I give Beak Appetit to Sunny on a daily basis and he loves the stuff! So far I've tried "Cinnamon Sunrise", "Cream of Tweet", and "Cheese Teaser". They were all a big hit! Now I just recieved "Calypso Spice" and I'll be cooking it up tomorrow.

I've been interested in trying le-grass cafe for quite some time now, guess I'll have to order it and see for myself!!!

It's the "Cheese Teaser" that I've ordered; hopefully they'll love it!

I bought the Le Grass and the pasta mix from beak appetite from Petsmart.

The grass alone was like five dollars.

My Lovebirds didn't care for any of it!

However, Right now my fruit trees in my backyard are growing tiny little fruits in which I break off a branch every few days, and my birds LOVE eating the little fruits, stripping off the leaves and bark.

That's the only "greens" they'll really eat..

So hopefully it's a start somehow.

Good Luck! Hope your birds like the grass though!
