All of those birds are beautiful! I would love to have many of those species!

Do those birds just have to sit there on those perches with nothing to do all day long? They can't go anywhere and they don't have any toys. Reminds me of when I went to Parrot Jungle in Miami, I felt terrible for all the birds there and thought it sent such a poor message to the public regarding the needs of the birds. (And what was even worse was all the birds as PJ had only sunflower seeds for food. Ugh.)

Awesome! I wanted to go soooo bad when we were in Pigeon forge in February but they were closed. I want to go real soon, we are only two hours away.

Thanks for sharing the pics. my thoughts were the same as Amy's. I too have been down to PJ in Miami, and it was rather sad, that the birds sat there all day with nothing to do. I guess the roof on the perches reminded us both.
Looks like you had a good time.

I was just at Parrot Jungle last Saturday, and was also there a couple of years ago. All the food that the guests can feed them are pellets, not seed. I didn't see one of the feeding stations that had seeds. As far as the Macaws that were out with no toys, yes they don't have toys but they have contact with hundreds of people everyday so I personally don't think they have that bad of a life there. They have a cockatoo that was born in 1931 and has been a part of Parrot Jungle since the 1940s so I think he's had a decent life to live that long.
