Jazz's finally in the
After 2 months and 3 harnesses, we finally got Jazz into his Aviator. His original AH had too small a head opening, so we tried the Feather Tether. In his size the FT is kind of a one piece, wrap aroundt he neck, clip, wrap around the wing over the back, around the other wing and clip in front kind of thing. He was alright with it until we got to the clip in front part, and then he wasn't having any of it. :(.
After visiting the Paterson Bird Store, and spending time with the Greys, it dawned on me that Jazz's head is bigger than some of the Congos, and much larger than the TAGs so the TAG sized Aviator was not the ideal fit. We ordered a new larger size Aviator, and after working for a week today was his first trip outside ![]() Just in case he refuses to wear it ever again, I took some pics to savor the moment. Beth, Jazz is so handsome. I'm glad you got him in a harness. It is a nice option to have along with his little flight cage.
He makes me really, really want a cape parrot.

True, I really like most birds but I really, really want a cape parrot.
There is a subtle difference I think you missed while laughing and mocking me.
