I didnt know people actually kept real birds in those decorative bird cages!

I thought they were just that... for decoration

I wonder how safe a practice that is:

Has anyone kept their bird in a decoration cage before, I would think something in the metal or paint would be bad for them, little alone the lack of room.

Maybe Im just wierd thinking thats strange and not the nicest idea, poor bird.

You are definitely right. That cage is way to small. Also, I would worry about the metal as you said.

I guess there really is no such thing as "common sense".

I can't believe those candles behind the bird have not been demolished! There seems to be no toys, let alone a small weird shaped cage for the poor thing!

That's nuts. When I saw the title, I thought you meant those little wooden, toothpick structures and I thought "not for long, heh" but that metal thing just looks cruel. I imagine a bird would get metal poisoning from one of those things pretty quickly.

I'm just wondering if the cage is next to the tub for picture purposes or if they really keep the bird there? The humidity may be good, but not so much on the respitory and socialization fronts Unless they're spending lots of time in the bathroom?!?

I think that goes for not having time for her... Theres no room for toys, little along room to stretch her wings.
