Today I was over at Magnolia Bird farm in Anaheim, CA to buy food for my NOW 6 parakeets.. Noah's ark brought them two by two..and I was walking by the Amazons... Next thing I know, there's a Yellow Nape Amazon crawling up my arm and SNUGGLING in the crook of my arm loving me!!! So awesome, the bird and I fell in love right there and the gal that works there was also amazed on this bird "WATCO" picking me out. The bird was laughing exactly like me, and we drew a crowd. People couldn't believe it was the bird laughing so loud. I soooooooooooo wanted to bring him home... sniff...hE didn't want to get down, nor did I want to put him down... Wished my Grey was that snuggly...but, good thing my wallet is empty by $1050.00!!! Maybe after I get myself situated and the bird is still there (someone's going to get a great bird!), I'll go back and bring him home. Might do my Grey some good to have a big bird friend, instead of the tiels and the keets! Plus I took his pic and sent it out ...

The worst thing to do is handling a possible pet, because they lay on that little bit of cuteness and its over.

We hadn't planned on getting a macaw so soon, but after my wife held him it was over. So I understand completely how hard it would of been to put him back.
