Just to share

My hubby and I spend a lot of time out on the water (we live in FL). We love it. Well before the end of boating season 2 osprey (We have a lot of them in our area) were making a nest on top of a no wake sign. A few weeks later we went out for a ride (it was too cold for anything else) mom or dad was sitting on the nest. Well we went out yesterday and the baby had hatched and mom or dad was feeding him/her. The other parent was a few yards away. It's amazing as you always see both of them but never on the nest at the same time. He/she is so cute and tiny. You wouldn't know that in a few weeks he/she will be large enough to take an animal off the ground. I want to take pics of them but I'm afraid if I get too close the chicks parents will flip. The baby is too small to get with the zoom feature. Any suggestion as to how to get pics without risking the baby, jail time and/or my eyes and other needed appendages?
