Spring time...local wild life. Pictures included.

Just wondering what do you all do for your local wild life. What i have done in the past is build a bird house (which was home to a male and female blue bird that hatched 5 chicks. 1 was killed by a blue jay and the other 2 fledge to early and died, last 2 have returned to hang around the yard) and a bird bath where multiple animals have come to drink. I found that the water attracked so many birds compared to that, that food brought. Now this year i will be giving wild birds the food that petrie does not eat,m for example the food that he leave from one day to the other. I have also just made another bird house this year. The new house i made this year just finished. The entrance is 5''X5'' and is place 9.6 feet off the ground. Anyone have any idea what might move in. I was thinking maybe mourning doves, robins, possible screech owls?? I put a small amount of hay inside as well. Any Thoughts??

I leave out the left over food from the Lovebirds. Also have a water fountain that the birds love to splash in. I'm also trying to start planting flowers that the humming birds like. I have tons of Canna's growing around the house that are big yellow and red beacons for them. I'm planting from seeds some flowering vines - some for Cherry in pots in the house also.
