HELP swollen eye
My three week old parrotlet is a messy, messy eater. Every day I have to clean out her eyes because of food getting slung on it's face and into it's eyes. Today I came in after class and it is keeping the right eye closed. I opened it and there is some redness. I called the vet, they said to flush it out with salene solution. I used a soft multi-purpose solution to clean it out, but baby is still keeping it very squinty. If it gets worse I will be going to the vet, but is there anything anyone can tell me to help this so I don't have to make the hour trip and spend the fortune it will take for them to clean it?
Any help is appreciated!
