So cute... TOO cute.

You know how a dog will come and put its head in your lap if it wants a headscratch? Well, I think Lingo is taking lessons from my dogs.

I had him sitting on the couch earlier, and he came over and sat by my leg. So I scritched his head just a little, and then he laid his head on my leg. <VBG>. Almost as if to say "aww, c'mon ma, just a little more scritchin?"

Now he's sitting in the same spot, next to my leg, with his head tucked beside it, dozing. It is terribly cute. Oh, if only I had a camera within arms' reach!

Awww.... I watched my friend's tiel Tim for two weeks while she was away and he would do something similiar. He'd fly over, land on my lap, and throw his head down. That was my cue to do some serious head scritches for him.

These little boogers sure do worm their way into your heart quickly, don't they? He's become even more people-friendly over the course of the past week or two. In the beginning, he was obviously a bit scared sometimes. But overall I think he has really progressed quickly. I couldn't ask for a better birdie buddy.
