? Are GCCs noisier than quakers, generally speaking?
Just wondering. I've already put a deposit down on a GCC (and very excited) , but I'm still curious.

Nope, gcc's definitely are not nearly as noisy as quakers IMHO. We don't have a gcc, but I know lots of people who do that also have quakers and I've always heard that the green cheeks are fairly quiet birds. Suns, well that's another story! LOL!

We had three quakers in a flight cage together once and it was like the macaw version of a budgie cage. Nonstop "QUACK QUACK CHEEP SQUIRP YAY WOW CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP!"
On the other hand, my pearly conure (very similar to GCC I think) is even quieter than a cockatiel and only speaks when he has something to say.
