Great artist who gives away free pet portraits

This artist, Leanne Wildermuth, does oil (color) and graphite (b&w) pet portraits. She's very talented, as a quick glance at her site and online gallery will show. She has some particularly great oil paintings of a GCC.

However, you can find other people who do pet portraits-- that's not too unusual. What IS special is that she gives away one free, custom graphite portrait each week! I really admire someone using their talent to brighten the lives of others. You just post a story about your pet (according to her declared subject for the week), along with a photo, and she picks one to draw. Last week, she picked my dear Pippin, who recently passed away. I think she did an excellent job on Pippin's portrait. I love this photo of Pip, because it looks like she's smiling (and it was her favorite toy), but the photo was kind of blurry.
