By far my quietest is my African Grey. Hardly ever a sound from her. (Beginning to wonder if she really likes us.) Loudest, no question about it.......my Amazon (DYH). Boy oh boy, he nevers gets quiet.

do you mean there are quiet birds?????

My tiels can even be quite loud---loudest are my macaws.

I guess my little hawkhead is the quietest for the most part.

With a flock ranging from budgies to 'toos this is interesting. For most consistently loud it would have to be my suns and nandays with our BE2 a very close 2nd. She regularly lets loose especially when daddy is around and she wants him. Whilst Kirri (GSC2) when she lets loose out screams everyone volume wise she doesn't do this very often. Maybe once every couple of days and then only for a few minutes. It's mainly just talking from her, big bird, big voice. The RB2s would probably be the quietest, budgies on an individual basis as well. With 10 of them though the overall volume is quite steady throughout the day but more like background noise. Everyone else would be somewhere in between.

The quietest in my home is a stuffed parrot named Paco, which I picked up at a costume shop last year to top off my pirate costume. (not a real stuffed parrot, just some fake feathers glued to a styrofoam shape, no worries)

My female cockatiel, Lady, is definately my quietest. Rylee my sun conure is pretty quiet unless he really wants something--same with Orrin (although he is a tad louder than Ry). AJ the lovebird and Keiko the budgie compete for the loudest...they talk to each other almost all day.

GCC makes the least noise, though when the Swiffer or the packing tape roller come into her view she can be ear piercing!

TAG is not loud so much it's just he never shuts up!

OK I guess I didnt make it clear as to what I was thinking. I really didnt mean about Loud as in tone or pitch. I ment "quiet" as in who talks the most. My Mac can bring the walls down but I dont even get that once a week. So yes he can be the loudest but he is also the quietest Bird in the house. Now the Zon chatters almost constantly - If she is not, then she is up to something, lol.
SO back to the question...Who is the Quietest bird in the house. So far it seems to be sennies?
