Help for my B&G

My Blue and Gold female is just wanting SO bad to mate. She continues to turn her tail and backside to me, regurgitates and is just so...well...wanting to mate. Do I just wait until this passes?

What should I do outside of getting a guy for her to have a one night stand with? She is 'all over' me and just well, unsatisfied so to speak.

Do not feel bad. My Miligold is doing the same thing. It will pass.

You want to be sure you don't encourage her in any way to view you as a mate. When she regurgitates, just quietly walk away. If she tries mating behaviors, put her down and walk away. Make sure you're not stimulating her by stroking, petting, etc., and keep any touching to just her head scritches and help with pin feathers on the head only. You want to be a flock member, not a mate, in her eyes. That will make it easier for her to get through the breeding seasons.

LOL This is every hormonal parrot owners fight. I have many that have decided I am their love slave and it really put a damper on our relationship.
