Organically grown strawberries at home, maybe even ones at healthfood stores are usually sure to be safe, while others bought in regular grocery stores may have been sprayed with pesticides and other chemicals. You only need to make sure that you wash them carefully and to make sure they are clean, not getting moldy.
Just a couple days ago I gave my birds some strawberries. Some like them, while some of the others just don't know how to eat them because they are just use to the shape and/or texture.

Yes, if you do give your parrot strawberries, please take your time at washing them, making sure that anything harmful is removed. Now if your parrot likes strawberries like my budgies do, be ready for a messy cage that you will need to wipe rather thoroughly. Strawberries are one of their favorites, but I only treat them on rare ocassions because of the mess. :icon_smil Also, my budgies like Kiwi, too. You could try these..
