I hadn't really thought of it either until a friend asked me what I was going to do to prevent any problems. We have tons of mosquitos in Toronto too but hopefully its not going to be a problem! |

I wouldn't want to go out myself at peak mosquito time and wouldn't want to take the birds out either. They don't have much bare skin and are pretty protected from bites compared to bare human skin! We have mosquitos in the summer rainy season, and two of our birds are outside year round on a covered terrace, as are many parrots here. Wild parrots are outdoors too in mosquito and bug country. I tend not to worry too much.
