In praise of nares

I'm sorry, but parrot nares are gorgeous. One of my favourite parts of the parrot. Humphrey looks particularly gorgeous today...her sparkling eyes, her shining feathers...and those adorable, ridiculous nares. God I just want to kiss them!

Crebain, have you seen what I look like? Judge from that whether I have a life....and weep! ;-)

I just happen to idolize parrots. They're much better than people...a fact you've just illustrated!!

/that's the second snarky comment you made to me....and I don't see you doing it to anyone else. Do you want me or something? (remember girls, complaining to your moms that a boy at school pulled your hair and she said, "it's because he likes you" !?)

Parrot Crazy, the Amazon isn't mine exactly. I used to live with him. He's my family-in-Philadelphia's parrot. I lived with him for a long time and he was the first parrot I ever loved. Whenever I go home I stay in the same house as Corbett the Amazon. So, I say that I am "owned by" Corbett! (but from afar...I miss Corb)

Sorry everyone, about my message in this thread. I'd had a lot of wine!

Alas, attractiveness is not a reliable indicator of liveliness.

I just happen to idolize parrots. They're much better than people...a fact you've just illustrated!!

They're maybe more consistent than people, but neither better or worse, IMO.

/that's the second snarky comment you made to me....

Both in jest?

and I don't see you doing it to anyone else.

Please look harder.

Do you want me or something?

I do like you. But I don't like you like you. I will try to make a point of saying something nicer to you in the near future, but all nursery-rhymes and parrot-part praising are still fair game for schoolboyish tauntings.
