I love #1 and #4. It's the eyes that get to me (I'm not much of a nare man). As stunning as birds feathers are and everything else about them it's the intelligence and soul they have in their eyes that I love most about them.

Beautiful pictures yehudasf. I too love birds eyes. You can really tell if a brid has personality through his eyes. I also love bird tongues, just because their cute LOL.

Great nares, Yehuda; but I must say that I am more of an eye person too. Birds, like people have such expressive eyes...I can see their feelings-the windows of their souls.

Don't get me wrong, I love bird eyes too. But Humph's nares were looking so adorable, and I'd had the better part of a bottle of red wine and...I was getting sappy over Humph's cuteness! I need to post a pic of Humph up close because her nares are spectacular!

Thanks Yehuda, for those gorgeous pics!

I love the little "hairs" between the eyes and nares. Cory has a bunch of prickly black hairs there and I think it is adorable.

Here's a nare question. On Cory and all these lovely nare pictures, the nares look "deep". The last bird show we went to, all the baby Senegals had really shallow looking nares and it was right around all the stuff with Coco and it made me nervous to see that. I didn't remember that Cory had shallow nares as a baby. Anyone know anything about that?
