Is my parrot perfectly happy?

How do we know if our precious babies are having the best life possible (aside from being in the wild)?

Other than symptoms of disease, which let us know they are not happy, or plucking feathers, which could be a worrisome symptom, are there any symptoms that my bird can show which proves she's very happy? She's a congo african grey.

For me these would be signs of being happy:
excitement for new toys and mealtimes and favorite people
being active moving around the cage, playing with toys
making lots of noise
showing interest in the goings on around them

Thanks Barbara! I'm not doing too badly with Jezebel. Except lately, she' s more excited about being with me than eating~

She is beautiful, I love Greys. I think if she is singing, making happy type noises seems active then she is happy :)

she's almost 6 months. Not singing or talking yet, but whistling and starting to make some strange human sounds.

LoryLady-I wish you could hear her. She's making snorting sounds-that's how I sound when I breathe sometimes, I've got sinus and congestion problems!

And not as funny-she's making kissing sounds.
