Some pictures from this past week-end

Decided that I would make my 200th post a pictures post.
I took pictures this last Saturday.
It was overcast and the light wasn't the greatest but I just felt like taking pictures.

I'll start with one of Shade. She wasn't being cooperative, although she usually likes to pose. She was all about eating and didn't really care for the camera. So here is a shot of her when she finally decided to lift her head out of the bowl for a few seconds.

Zuri...Zuri is obsessed with my camera. Not so much for sitting in front of it as much as trying to get to it, most of the time from my shoulder. Eventually, when she finally caught on that I was not going to let her anywhere close the camera, she started posing nicely. I love this one, mostly because of the lighting.

Joey was having fun playing with pieces of wood, well that is until Zuri starting running after him (to steal whatever piece of wood he was playing with).
Oh and I LOVE his eyes. Zuri and Petey also have red eyes, but they aren't nearly as vibrant as Joey's.

Petey was on the play gym the furthest away from the windows, meaning natural light was minimal. She kept moving around, which was rather annoying since when I finally managed to properly focus, she moved a split second later. However, I did manage to get a few shots of her, and my favorite has to be this one. Mid stretch shot.

Finally a shot of Piper. She was also far from the windows when I took this and the lighting isn't the greatest. I think she was about to fluff-up and shake it off when this was taken.

I use a Pentax K20 (DSLR) and for these particular pictures, I think I had my Pentax 50mm f/1.4 lens on.

Damn those gorgeous primes. I really need to invest in a nice f/1.4 or f/1.8.

Your shots convince me of that much...

You always take the most amazing photos! I would pay top dollar to have you take a photo of Pickle... assuming that he's cooperate, that is ;)

I love how Piper always looks like a little model when she is photographed, too!
