Funny little parakeets

So I have never been a fan of parakeets..Ive always been bit hard while trying to handle them..and boy does it hurt! But then I met Kaiu..hes a darling, never ever bites, steps up and plays...hes a riot! Ok so I bought him a plastic friend, its a smallish parakeet thing, which he adopted as his own kind and decided to whack around alot...well he kept whacking it to the cage floor and hed sit and wait for me to pick it up and put it back on a perch...this went on and on...until it made me depressed....so I brought him home a 'real' friend, named pretzel...at first Kaiu only wanted his plastic friend but I removed it...and now hes trying slowly to befriend Pretzel...its a process, but luckily Pretzel is just as friendly as Kaiu....phew.....they live happily in a huge cage built in Parakeet heaven....they are out playing on their gym....sorry Im bored...thanks!

Their gym is awesome! It takes a special budgie to really fall in love with them. Some can be quite aggressive, but some are gentle and cuddly. Cute story! My budgie attacks her toys too... and bosses the cockatiels...
