I have aquired 2 budgies a male normal wild color or he might be dark green, and a female Doublefactor recessive Pied. I was wondering what is the possible color mutation that they would make if i did choose to breed them. And lastly i have them in a cage that cages up to 10 budgies, so if i did let them breed would i be able to leave the babies live with the parents. Thanks i don't want to breed them any time soon or i dont even know if i will ever breed them. Thanks so much.

The wild green gene is dominant, so more likely chance of green babies. What color is the other one? I had a yellow male and blue female budgie that made mostly yellows and greens... i can't actually remember if they had any blues... I think they had one. But the green and yellow are definitely more dominant than any other color.
