Anyone know DJ Feathers Aviary? Good? Bad?

Hi guys,
I'm looking to replace Stewie's happy hut with something that doesn't have stitching on the inside and really like the bed that DJ Feathers Aviary sells.

The issue is that I don't buy from pet stores that sell birds, and the idea of buying from a breeder sort of seems in the same vein. I'm not anti-breeder, but I try to buy all my supplies from stores that don't sell animals and/or in ways that benefit nonprofit/rescues.

But DJ's is the only one that makes this bed. So, I at least want to make sure they have a stellar reputation for being A+ Awesome breeders.

I appreciate any feedback!

I have never bought any birds from them (all my guys are rehomes) but they sell caiques and I am a member of another forum where alot of the members are caique owners and they have nothing but wonderful things to say about DJ Feathers. Alot of times, if someone joins the forum looking for a reputable caique breeder, the members refer the questionee to them.

At any rate, any breeder who so openly posts video (check out their feathercams on their website) of their babies and their store really cannot be that bad, they certainly do not seem to need to hide anything.

I have several people on the caique forum that cannot sing DJ Feathers praises enough! All interaction I've had with the has been very positive thus far.

I got my Kakariki from DJ feathers, there was a problem with the flight and they were great, calling the airlines at midnight trying to get info. I got 2 of the large tube shaped beds for them, and they LOVE them. I'm going to get one of the tent shaped ones for my conure who so far has turned down every option for sleep hut other than a flat square perch. I asked them many questions before and after I got my birds and they were very quick to get back to me and gave me lots of information even though I wasn't spending a lot of money on an expensive bird.

You got one of their kakariki babies? I'd love to hear more about him or her!
